We are studying a series of p-quinones evaluating their antimicrobial, antifungal and especially trypanocidal activities, with both an experimental and computational approach. We are using DFT calculations, QSAR 2-D, molecular dynamics to shed light on the physicochemical characteristics of quinones and their possible mechanism of action.
